On Wednesday September 17, 2025 at Brazi's Italian Restaurant in New Haven, Beau Burgess, Mike McDougal, and Tim Turner from Consigli Construction will present the following dinner meeting topic: "Constructability: Enhancing Structural Designs".
Even the best laid plans of mice and men can go awry. Throughout the structural design and coordination process, the best conceived details and designs can fall victim to the age old but sometimes overlooked problem of constructability. Well-conceived or intentioned designs can lead to problems if they can't be built efficiently or cost effectively.
Beau, Mike, and Tim will take us through process of pre-construction consultation for a variety of construction materials and types, special constructability considerations, and several case studies illustrating issues with constructability, how they can be overcome and how best to avoid them in the future to limit the potential for complications, delays, and change orders.
These gentlemen are coming to us from the Pre-Construction division of Consigli Construction. Consigli was founded in 1905 in Milford, Mass and is currently one of the largest employee-owned construction management companies on the East Coast.
The meeting will be hosted at Brazi's Italian Restaurant in New Haven, CT located at 201 Food Terminal Plaza, New Haven, CT on Wednesday September 17th from 5:30 pm to 9pm.
